Feeding & Safety Guidance

These are hard, weight-bearing bones and can fracture teeth. They are not suitable for every dog, particularly powerful chewers or dogs that bite down forcefully. Do not encourage your dog to crush or consume the hard bone. Ask your vet for advice if you are unsure whether marrow bones are appropriate for your dog.

Choose a bone appropriate for your dog's size and chewing style, too large to swallow whole, and supervise throughout. Bones can splinter or cause choking and digestive blockages. Remove the bone if it develops sharp edges, breaks or becomes small enough to swallow. Never cook bones.

Offer occasionally alongside a balanced diet, accounting for any marrow and meat eaten when planning meals. Introduce gradually and always provide fresh drinking water.

Storage & Handling

Frozen product: store below -18°C. Follow the defrosting and use-by instructions on the packaging. Handle as raw meat; wash hands, bowls, utensils and preparation surfaces thoroughly after use and keep separate from food intended for people.
